VICIdial is open-source software with no license fee, so the software costs nothing however many agents or calls you run. You pay for everything around it: a server, a SIP carrier for the minutes, installation and configuration, training, and the time of whoever administers it. Published 2026 prices for those pieces are below, each with its source.

VICIdial software has no license fee. In a reply on the official forum, the site administrator wrote: "The software is free no matter how many calls you place or how many agents you have log into it. But you will need a SIP carrier to place the phone calls through, and I don't know of any free SIP carriers at this point. So there will be your telco costs at the very least."
So the bill is everything around the software: a server (your own or hosted), carrier minutes and numbers, installation and configuration, training, and the time of whoever runs it. Published hosting prices read on October 1, 2026 run from $49 to $400 per server per month, before minutes.

The VICIhost per-minute rate and billing increment are a good example of why increments matter: see the SIP trunk guide for how a 60-second increment changes the cost of short calls.
Server sizing is the first surprise. The ViciBox documentationsays plainly: "Server scaling and dimensioning is one of the hardest parts of ViciDial," and that its reference hardware specifications "will allow for 25-agents and 125-trunks of capacity per server when using predictive dialing." Larger floors need more servers at that ratio, and each one has to be installed and kept running.
Installation is the second. The VICIdial Group's remote installation pagesays: "VICIdial can be tricky to install and configure, especially in a multi-server cluster." The group sells installation packages and planning hours, and managed hosts offer to run the servers for you. The ViciBox documentation calls ViciBox "the official installation image for the ViciDial® Call Center Suite" (ViciBox docs); our VICIdial, ViciBox, GoAutoDial and FreePBX comparison explains how those names relate.
The third is time. Someone has to build campaigns and lists, manage users, tune dial settings, watch the servers and handle carrier problems. That time is a real cost even when no invoice shows it, and it is the part no published price list can estimate for you.
This uses VICIhost's published rates from the table, one server for 25 agents (the ViciBox sizing figure above), and an assumed volume of 100,000 outbound minutes and 20 numbers a month. It is an illustration, not a quote: replace the assumed volume with your own.
VoiceOI is priced per bot, prepaid monthly, with no per-minute AI fee. List prices run from $25 to $155 per bot per month depending on bot type and connection, and volume discounts of up to 60% apply as you add bots. Each bot holds one call at a time. Bots join VICIdial campaigns as remote agents, so your server, lists and carrier stay as they are and your carrier still bills the minutes (VICIdial AI voice bot).
