Final Expense AI Calling.
Live Transfers to Your Licensed Agents.

VoiceOI handles final expense AI calling for call centers and agencies: a fronter bot calls your leads, checks interest with your script (and age on the Good Fronter tiers, with basic filtering on the Simple tiers), and live-transfers the callers who qualify to your licensed agents, so you can produce final expense live transfers in-house.

Who Final Expense AI Calling Is For

VoiceOI is software for the teams that make final expense calls: call centers that produce live transfers for agencies, agencies and IMOs whose licensed agents work their own leads, and VICIdial floors that want bots in some of their fronter seats.

VoiceOI does not sell leads, live transfers or policies. If you are an agent looking to buy transfers, this isn't a lead service: you bring the leads, the script and the licensed agents, and the bots make the first call. The same AI live transfer model works on any outbound campaign.

It works best when:

  • Your leads have consent to be called with an AI voice.
  • Licensed agents are free to take transfers during your calling hours.
  • You want every lead screened the same way, all day.

How Final Expense AI Calling Works

  1. 1

    Write your script

Build the call flow in the no-code builder with your own recorded lines and a branch for each answer.

  2. 2

    Set your screening rules

Choose the rules a caller must meet before a transfer, including the age range on the Good Fronter tiers, and the disposition for each outcome.

  3. 3

    Test in the simulator

Run test calls before any real lead is dialed, and adjust the wording until it sounds calm and clear.

  4. 4

    Load leads and go live

Upload a CSV list or use your VICIdial lists, filter by state, area code or ZIP, set calling windows and retries, and start dialing.

Fronter-to-Closer Flow for Final Expense Live Transfers

What happens on each call, from the first ring to your licensed agent.

  1. 1

    Dial

The bot dials from your list, as a VICIdial remote agent or through your SIP carrier.

  2. 2

    Answering-machine check

The bot greets the call and checks whether a person or a machine picked up.

Machine: the call ends, logged AM, with no message left.

  3. 3

    Disclosure and opening

Your optional AI-voice disclosure plays, then the bot opens with your recorded lines.

Asks not to be called: the call ends, and the request is logged as do-not-call.

  4. 4

    Interest

The bot asks if the caller wants to hear about coverage.

Still not interested after your rebuttal: a polite close, logged NI.

  5. 5

    Age check (Good Fronter tiers)

On the Good Fronter tiers, the caller gives an age or a birth year and the answer is matched against your range. The Simple tiers do basic filtering only.

Outside your range: a polite close, logged NQ.

  6. 6

Rule check in code (Good Fronter tiers)

Your age limits are verified again in code before the call moves on.

  7. 7

Live transfer to a licensed agent

The live call is handed over SIP to an agent chosen by your routing rules. On the Good Fronter tiers, AI-written notes go with it.

  8. 8

    Outcome logged

The disposition, recording and transcript are saved. On VICIdial, the outcome is written back to the lead.

Sample Final Expense Fronter Script

A branching script for a recorded-voice fronter bot, built in the no-code AI voice agent builder. Swap in your agency's details; text in brackets is a placeholder. The age question in step 3 needs a Good Fronter tier.

  1. 1

    Greeting

Bot says“Hi, this is Sarah, a virtual assistant calling for [Agency] about the final expense information you requested. How are you doing today?”

    • Good, fine: "Glad to hear it." Go to step 2.
    • Not so good: "I'm sorry to hear that. I'll be brief." Go to step 2.
  2. 2

    Reason for the call

Bot says“I'm calling about final expense coverage, the kind that helps a family with funeral and burial costs. A licensed agent can go over the options with you. Would you like to hear more?”

    • Yes: Go to step 3.
    • Not interested: Go to step 4.
    • Already have coverage: Go to step 5.
    • Please don't call me: Do-not-call handling ends the call and records the request.
  3. 3

    Age question

Bot says“So I can connect you with the right agent, may I ask your age, or the year you were born?”

    • Inside your age range: Go to step 6.
    • Outside your range: "Thank you for your time today." The call ends, logged NQ.
    • Unclear answer: "Sorry, could you say that once more?" Asked once more, then a polite close.
  4. 4

    Rebuttal: not interested

Bot says“I understand. Many people just like to know their options, so their family isn't left with the bill. Would a few minutes with the agent be all right?”

    • Yes: Go to step 3.
    • No: "Thank you, and have a good day." The call ends, logged NI.
  5. 5

    Rebuttal: already covered

Bot says“That's good to hear. Some people like to check that their coverage would still be enough. Would you like a licensed agent to go over it with you?”

    • Yes: Go to step 3.
    • No: A polite close, logged NI.
  6. 6

    Transfer line

Bot says“Thank you. Please stay on the line while I connect you with a licensed agent.”

    • Then: The live call is transferred over SIP to a licensed agent and logged XFER.

Question limits differ by fronter tier (see the tier table below). Age and ZIP verification and comments for the closer come with the Good Fronter tiers; the Simple tiers do basic filtering.

Age Screening on Good Fronter Tiers, Re-Checked Before Transfer

Your screening rules decide who reaches a licensed agent, so on the Good Fronter tiers VoiceOI doesn't leave the age rule to the AI alone.

Callers answer in their own words, and the bot works out the value it needs: "72", "seventy-two" and "I was born in 1954" all count as an age. Before a transfer goes through, ranged rules such as your age limits are checked again in code against what the caller actually said. If that check fails, the caller is not transferred on that answer.

This age and ZIP verification is part of the Good Fronter tiers, from $35 per bot per month; the Simple Fronter tiers handle basic filtering only. On any tier, you can keep bots inside the states where your agents are licensed by filtering the list by state, area code or ZIP before dialing.

The Bot Never Quotes or Sells Policies

The bot's job ends at the handoff: it checks interest and eligibility, and your licensed agent has the sales conversation, gives any quote and takes the application. The bot never quotes premiums, describes policies or asks for payment or bank details.

Many of the people you call are older, so keep the script short and plain: one question at a time, everyday words, and an easy way to say no.

Licensing and Calling-Hour Controls for Final Expense Campaigns

The settings that keep a senior-market campaign inside your licensed states and your agents' hours.

Licensed-state filters

Filter the list by state, area code or ZIP before dialing, so bots only call where your agents hold licenses.

Calling windows and retries

Bots dial only inside the hours you set for each lead's timezone, and retry on your schedule.

Recordings and transcripts

Every call is recorded and transcribed, so you can hear exactly what the bot said and tighten the script.

What It Costs to Produce Transfers In-House

Buying transfers, you pay a vendor for each one. Producing them in-house, you pay for your own leads, your carrier's call minutes and your licensed agents, and VoiceOI covers the fronter seat as a flat prepaid fee per bot. A bot makes one call at a time, and there is no per-minute AI charge.

We don't publish a cost per transfer: it depends on your lead source, how many people answer and how many qualify. Fronter bots start at $25 per bot per month at list price, and volume discounts reach up to 60%, with a floor on each tier. Full details are on the VoiceOI pricing page.

Fronter Bot Tiers for Final Expense Campaigns

Every fronter tier live-transfers. They differ by connection, question limit and what the closer receives.

List prices before volume discounts; the floor is the lowest a tier goes after discounts. The Google Sheets export is a Pro LG tier feature, and LG tiers do not live-transfer, so it is not part of these fronter tiers.

What VoiceOI Does Not Do

  • Quote premiums, take applications or take payments.
  • Leave voicemail messages: when a machine answers, the call ends.
  • Hold conversations in languages other than English: calls are English-first.

Final Expense AI Calling FAQs

Does VoiceOI sell final expense live transfers?

No. VoiceOI is software, and it doesn't sell leads, live transfers or policies. Call centers and agencies use it to produce their own final expense live transfers: you bring leads with consent to call, your script and your licensed agents, and VoiceOI's fronter bots make the first call.

Can I use my own script?

Yes. You build it in the no-code script builder: record your own lines, set a branch for each kind of answer, and run test calls in the simulator before any real lead is dialed. You can also start from a marketplace template or the transcript of a good call.

What consent do I need for AI-voice calls?

Plan on prior express written consent from every person you call: the FCC ruled in February 2024 that AI-generated voices are artificial voices under the TCPA. VoiceOI's disclosure and do-not-call controls help, but consent and compliance stay with you, so ask your counsel to review your lead sources and script.

Will the bot quote policies or prices?

No. The bot screens and transfers, nothing more. Premiums, product details and applications are handled by your licensed agents after the transfer.
